A: Hi I’m Nes, and I bring a background in procurement and administration to the table. Four years into my journey with IDA, and it’s been nothing short of fulfilling. IDA isn’t just a workplace; it’s a community of passionate minds contributing significantly to the health and pharmaceutical space. Being part of a team that works towards a noble cause fills me with pride and happiness.
Q: Nes, what do you enjoy doing outside of your responsibilities at IDA? Any interesting hobbies or favourite pastimes?
A: Outside of IDA, I find joy in the simple pleasures of life. I’m an avid music enthusiast, finding solace and inspiration in different genres. Exercise is another integral part of my routine, keeping both my body and mind in sync. And, when the rhythm takes over, you might catch me on the dance floor, expressing myself through the art of movement.
Q: What motivates you to work in the field of global health?
A: The field of global health is my chosen path because it allows me to contribute to saving lives and fostering happiness and health around the world. The profound impact we can make on individuals’ well-being resonates deeply with me and gives my work a sense of purpose.
Q: In your perspective, why is NCDconnect such a vital platform, and what gaps is it filling?
A: NCDconnect is pivotal as it unites suppliers and buyers under a common goal – achieving universal health coverage. By doing so, it addresses critical gaps, reducing deaths, and ensuring swift access to essential NCD medicines. The platform becomes a catalyst for making the world a better and healthier place to live in.

A: My role revolves around contributing to the platform’s growth by providing essential data for seamless connections between suppliers and buyers.
